# Quorum Help Center, for agents

This is the support knowledge base for the Quorum platform: Attest, Kerf, the Enterprise API, briefing podcasts, Storage, accounts and billing, and the legal terms. Everything here is published for customers and is public. This page tells an agent how to read it, search it, and ask Quincy, the support assistant, on a person's behalf.

94 articles in 8 categories: Account (13), Developer (35), General (6), Legal (6), Platform (3), Podcasts (13), Storage (11), Troubleshooting (7).

## Reading an article

Every article has a Markdown copy at its own address with `.md` appended, for example https://support.quorumtech.ch/articles/attest-draft-reviews.md. The same copy answers the article's page address with the header `Accept: text/markdown`. The file opens with front matter (title, summary, category, tags, updated, url) and then the article as written.

## Listing what exists

- https://support.quorumtech.ch/llms.txt lists every article by category with its Markdown address. Fetch this first.
- https://support.quorumtech.ch/llms-full.txt is every article in one file, for a reader that would rather load the corpus once.
- https://support.quorumtech.ch/sitemap.xml lists the HTML pages.

## Searching

`GET https://support.quorumtech.ch/search?q=your+words` returns the best matching articles as Markdown, each with its `.md` address and summary. Add `format=json` for a JSON list. Search understands meaning, not only words, so ask the question as a person would.

## Asking Quincy

Quincy answers questions from these articles and says when the articles do not cover something.

- `GET https://support.quorumtech.ch/ask?q=your+question` returns the answer as Markdown, with suggested follow-up questions and a `conversation` id.
- To continue the same conversation, repeat the call with `&conversation=<id>`. Quincy then remembers the earlier turns. The earlier turns are held on our side and cannot be supplied or changed by the caller, so a conversation is always Quincy's own record of it.
- `POST https://helix-support.quorumtech.ch/api/agent/ask` with JSON `{ "message": "...", "conversationId": "..." }` is the same thing as JSON, from the API directly.

Quincy is rate limited per address. A 429 carries `Retry-After` in seconds. Calling the API address directly gives you a limit of your own; the https://support.quorumtech.ch addresses are shared by everyone who reads the site through them.

## Connecting the person you are helping

Signed out, Quincy answers from the articles alone. Connected to a person, Quincy knows who is asking, their workspace and role, and can look at their own support tickets, so the answers fit their situation. The person decides, by signing in to Quorum themselves. You never see their sign-in.

1. `POST https://helix-support.quorumtech.ch/api/agent/connect` with JSON `{ "agent": "<the name you go by>" }`. The response carries `agentToken`, which you keep and never show or put in an address, and `connectUrl`, which you give to the person.
2. Ask the person to open `connectUrl`. It shows them your name and what the connection allows, has them sign in to Quorum if they are not already, and asks them to approve. The link expires after 15 minutes if nobody opens it.
3. Poll `GET https://helix-support.quorumtech.ch/api/agent/connect` with the header `X-Quorum-Agent-Session: <agentToken>` every `pollSeconds` until `status` is `connected`. It can also come back `declined` or `expired`.
4. Send the same header on `POST https://helix-support.quorumtech.ch/api/agent/ask`, or on `GET https://support.quorumtech.ch/ask`. The answer says `connected: true` and names the person.

A connection lasts 24 hours. The person can end it at any time from the same link. A conversation continued while connected belongs to that connection from then on and cannot be continued without it, so what Quincy said for the person stays with the person.

## Rules

- Quote the article address when you pass an answer on, so the person can read the source.
- Internal and unpublished articles do not exist on these addresses. What you can read is what every customer can read.
- Do not open a connection the person has not asked for, and tell them what it allows before they approve it.
- Still stuck? support@quorumtech.ch reaches the team.
