Billing, renewal, cancelling and refunds
How subscriptions renew, how to cancel, when a payment is refundable, and how Quorum Partners differ.

Billing, renewal and refunds
This summarises clause 9 of the Terms of Service at quorumtech.ch/terms-and-conditions.
Trials
There is no free trial as standard. Where we give one specifically, or where you use a promotional code we have published, it runs on the terms stated with it and converts to a paid subscription at the end unless cancelled first.
Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annually depending on the plan, and keep renewing until cancelled.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal rather than ending the subscription on the spot, so the Services keep running to the end of the period already paid for.
To change or cancel a plan, message us in the support chat or email support@quorumtech.ch.
Refunds
If you cancel within 7 days of a payment being taken, we refund that payment less the briefings generated during the period it covers, charged at the per-briefing rate for your plan. If more has been used than the payment covers, no refund is due and we will not invoice the difference.
After those 7 days, fees already paid are not refundable. Two things override that and give a pro-rata refund regardless: a material reduction in functionality, and the service level remedies.
Other billing terms
- Invoices are payable within 30 days.
- We may suspend for non-payment after 14 days' written notice and a chance to put it right.
- Price changes take 60 days' notice and apply from the next renewal.
Quorum Partners
Some organisations get Quorum as part of a wider engagement with us, such as custom work we have built for them. That makes them a Quorum Partner, and clause 9 does not apply to them: the agreement covering the engagement sets what they pay and when.
