Share an episode with a listen link
A finished episode can be shared with a link, so a colleague can hear the briefing without hunting for the meeting, or an external stakeholder can listen without an account. Sharing is available to the episode's own attendee and to workspace admins.
Creating a link
On the meeting page, open a ready episode and press Share listen link. The dialog offers two audiences under "Who can listen":
- Members of your workspace: any signed-in member with the link can listen. This widens access, because episodes are normally visible only to their own attendee and to admins.
- Public: anyone with the link, no sign-in needed. The dialog warns that anyone outside your workspace with the link can view the podcast, so treat public links like the content itself.
Choose how long the link lives under Link expires: 1 day, 7 days, 30 days, or Never. Members links default to Never, and public links default to 7 days, which reflects how each is typically used.
If you started playback before opening the dialog, a Start at checkbox lets the link open at the current timestamp, which is handy for pointing someone at one specific moment.
Press Share to use your device's share sheet where available, or Copy link to put it on the clipboard.
What a link grants
A link grants access to exactly one episode of one meeting, nothing else. Listeners get the audio and the transcript for that episode only. A members link additionally requires the visitor to be signed in to the same workspace, and a visitor who is signed out or in the wrong workspace is sent to sign in to the right one.
Expiry and revocation
Each link is a signed, self-contained pass. That design means a link cannot be edited or individually revoked after it has been created, so the expiry you choose at creation time is the control that matters. If you need a shorter leash, mint a link with a 1 day or 7 day expiry rather than Never.
If a link must stop working before it expires, deleting the meeting removes the episode it points to, which invalidates every link to it at once. An expired or invalid link shows visitors "This share link is invalid or has expired" and reveals nothing about the episode.
Good practice
- Prefer members links inside the company. They stay useful indefinitely and never leak outside the workspace.
- Give public links the shortest expiry that does the job.
- Remember that a public link carries the episode's full content, including any figures the briefing quotes, so share it as deliberately as you would the documents behind it.
