Verify your email address

Verifying your email confirms the address is really yours, so invitations, podcast notifications, and sign-in details always reach the right person. You can use Quorum right away, and verification takes one click when you are ready.

How it works

When you create your account, Quorum sends a message with the subject "Verify your Quorum email address". Open it and select the verification button. The link takes you to a confirmation page which completes a quick automated check and then marks your address as verified.

The waiting page in your original tab updates by itself the instant you confirm, even if you clicked the link on a different device, so you can verify from your phone while working at your desk.

How long the link lasts

Each verification link is valid for 48 hours and can be used once. Requesting a new link replaces any older ones, so only the most recent email works.

Request a new link

If the link expired or the email never arrived:

1. Check your spam or junk folder first.
2. While signed in, use the resend option on the verification page.

If your address is already verified, resending does nothing and Quorum simply tells you so, meaning it is always safe to click.

Common questions

The page says the link is invalid or expired. Links expire after 48 hours, and each request invalidates earlier links. Request a fresh one and use the newest email.

I changed my email after signing up. A verification link only works for the address it was sent to. If your email on file changed since the link was sent, request a new link so it matches your current address.

Do I have to verify before using Quorum? No. Your account works immediately after sign-up. Verification simply confirms your address for the features and notifications that depend on it.
